Rope Training

Spent Friday night, 8/14/09 in Willard Basin for some night rope training. Had a great time and learned a lot. Spent the night at the CCC camp. Lived from our packs. No sleeping bags or tents. We were wise and chose a night that rained for this training.

The passing of a member

It is with a fond farewell that we made the last call for a fellow member of our team who has past away.. so long Ridd, and thanks.

After a little training on atv safety and maintenance at the SAR building today, I got a few more pictures from the last search so I added it to Allan's previous post.

In need of a little help

On Monday we had a call out that some fishermen were stuck out in the western part of the county. We had a great turnout and alot of fun looking for, finding and rescuing these guys.
This is how we found the truck....

Keeping up on the Training

Several of our members recently attended a Winter Survival Seminar hosted by Weber County's S&R team. We had a great time learning about using snow anchors and avalance beacons, studying the science of snow, and building our own Pepsi can alcohol burning survival stoves.

as you can see from the pictures we couldn't have asked for a better weekend. Thanks to all the Weber guys that made for a great weekend.
